Notes + Takeaway
Brooding - The period immediately after a baby bird hatches, when the parent takes special care and attention to their creation. The LORD took special care of us at the beginning of creation. We were made in his perfect image made to dwell within his presence forever. However when the creator first tried to release the dove sin spoiled creation, therefore the creator had to bring the dove back into his care (it wasn’t ready) He sent a flood and tried to start again. Eventually the dove would rest upon Christ and eventually through his death and resurrection… us.
The only way we are made right with God is through Jesus. His sacrifice on the cross has washed away our sins. Let the Holy Spirit rest upon us so that we may continue Christ’s work here on earth. Saving people by bringing them to the feet of Jesus so that they find their way to the father. Perfect and whole again.
